What We Believe
If the foundation be destroyed, what shall the righteous do? Psalms 11:3

We are grateful to the Lord for establishing this ministry in the city of Jacksonville in 1990. By the grace of God, the Lord sent us from Detroit, Michigan to perform his work here is the south. Over two thousand years ago the Lord established the Apostles teaching through the unction of the Holy Ghost by the direction of Jesus to this latter day church.

In 1974, we became a part of the Apostolic Movement and to this day our stand still remains. The teaching of the Apostles concerning the baptism in Jesus Name and the filling of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38) became a part of my life. At that time, the Lord revealed unto me that this is the truth concern his salvation and I have not changed nor turned from the principles of their teaching. It should be understood by the Apostles doctrine that Jesus is the SON OF GOD not the eternal God, but the SON. God sent him into the world to be the ransom for our sins and that truth still remains. We believe and stand firmly that according to Ephesians 4:4-6, that there is one body, and one spirit even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all and in you all.
We know for assure that the only entrance into the body of Christ is that you must be born of water and spirit or you will not enter into the kingdom of God. St. John 3:5. We hold and teach that the only life style that God will accept in this latter day church is HOLINESS and there is no sin in the Body of Christ Hebrew 12:14; I Thess. 4:7,8; I Corinthian 6:18. For every sin that a man doeth is without the body. Sin is the enemy to the church and it should be understood that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Romans 3:23. After death is eternity and whether we are right or wrong we shall meet God in the end. For there shall be a resurrection of the just as well as the unjust. Act 24:15. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. St. Johns 5:28,29; Revelation 20:11. There is only one church, but different segments of one body. I Corinthian 12:28 state “And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
The Members of Community Revival Center would like you to be a part of our church family. It is important that you recognize that we are living in the last days. We have geared our teaching to help you and your family to become spiritual over comers and to recognize that Jesus Christ came to give his life so that we might live.
The Pastor, Dr. Arthur L. Adam Sr. and First Lady, Evangelist Cynthia A. Adams entreat you to come with us as we make our journey to Glory.
